Technical Sales Support Engineer (Pre-Sales Support), IF-TSS
Job Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales technical support to account manager throughout the sales cycle to achieve business objectives.
- Generate detailed technical network/system proposals base on technology and our product offerings.
- Solution presentation, Proof of Concept (POC) and solution evaluation.
- Work with the Post-Sales team to ensure solution is delivered as proposed.
- Maintain rapport with customers and competence in managing vendors.
- Offer technical advice to customers and follow up with vendors/suppliers on unresolved problems till a satisfactory solution is concluded.
- To provide technical trainings and occasional regional support.
Requirement:
Tertiary Education in Telecommunication Network or Computer Engineering.
Minimum 2 years relevant experience is required for the Pre-Sales position.
Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and commitment.
Ability to generate, propose and present technical solutions.
Experience in designing networks and ability to manage projects independently for Telco and large enterprises.
Good knowledge and hands on experience in following areas:
Good knowledge LAN, WAN technologies, STP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP4, MPLS, TE and IPv6 etc.
Good knowledge Wireless technologies such as 802.11a/b/g/n.
Good knowledge Network security solutions such as Firewall, IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, IPS.
Resourceful, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and cope with pressure.
A team player with excellent people management skills.
Strong project and IT vendor management skills.
Ability to prepare tender specifications independently and lead meetings with customers.
Excellent analytical and communications skills are essential.
Relevant technical certifications are highly desirable, Juniper Certification (JNCIP/ JNCIE) would be an advantage.
Strong command of both spoken and written English.
