NETWORK ENGINEER ( POST SALES SUPPORT), PROJECT & SERVICE MANAGEMENT Singapore Based
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Professional Services including project management, logistic management, project planning, configuration and implementation, testing, integration and migration, and system documentation.
- Provide 24 x 7 level 1 & 2 field engineering support activities including 2 or 4 hours on site response to customers, troubleshooting and resolution services and preventive maintenance work for customer systems within the stipulated SLA.
- Offer technical advice to customers and follow up with product vendors on unresolved problems.
- Manage customer expectations and perceptions to secure customer satisfaction in relation to Projects & SLA deliverables as well as unresolved trouble tickets.
- To develop test cases and conduct hardware & software regression tests on new software/equipment prior deployment.
- Logistic management of RMAs.
- To provide technical trainings occasionally.
Requirement:
Tertiary Education in Data Communications or Computer Engineering.
Self-motivated and with strong sense of responsibility, urgency, initiative and commitment.
Resourceful, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and cope with pressure.
A team player and excellent communication and people management skills.
Experience and capable to manage projects independently for service providers, Telco, government, banks and large enterprises.
Able to work flexi hours.
Good knowledge and hands on experience in any of the following areas: LAN, WAN technologies, VLANs, RIPv1/v2, OSPF, ISIS, BGP4, MPLS-TE, MPLS-VPN.
Network security solutions such as firewalls, IPSec, CPE based VPN solutions, token-based security solution, antivirus gateway and PIN verification systems. Juniper Certification (JNCIP) would be an advantage
Appliance based proxy solutions and anti-virus security gateway.
Appliance based Server/firewall/WAN load balancers. WAN Optimisation systems and Applications Acceleration systems.Candidates must be prepared to work in Singapore
